Twit Tweet Graffiti StoreTwit Tweet Graffiti, is defined by me as 'Twits' being the Tags of street gangs and kids who twitter sweet nothings to their girlfriends, or more often venom, toward their competition and the victims of their random dislikes. Twits, 'twitter' on every spare surface with aerosol paint and leave behind meaningless rag tag signatures. They deface buildings, shop shutters and generally annoy and aggravate the shop keepers and citizens in those areas they choose to target. However as can be seen in the graphics, chuck a whole lot of tags together and you get a multimix of messages and glorious colour! Tweets for me, are the less common grafitti artists who call to us with their fleeting imagery and works of art that either puzzle, delight or tickle the soul. Sometimes all of these things all at the same time. Their messages are at times political, humorous and inscrutable but they are always situational. A picture can indeed paint a thousand words!

The amount of hidden art under layers of paint and the fleeting works of graffiti has led me to creating this gallery. All of the graffiti is unique and unfortunately not all the tags of the artists are visible. Some of the art has been sprayed over and gives an edgy street feel to them. We also have no idea how long they will remain on walls which also gives them an undetermined shelf life of existence. Twit Tweet Graffiti gallery is all about those works of art and random tag art that brighten our days. Unfortunatley it is not always possible to find the tag of the artists due to overspray. Some of the works in the Twit Tweet Graffiti gallery and gallerys 1-3 have been created by Jody, Hush, Art Tart and others that have been overlayed.

All the photos in this gallery and the gang gallery were taken in Bristol at various locations, including Gloucester Road, The Waterfront, Jamaica Road and Bedminster Skate board park in 2009.
