Gang Gallery2 Grafitti and Art
Gang Gallery2 offers more graffiti taken in Bristol 2009. Some of the images here have already replaced those images in Gang Gallery1. I hope that little artists and big artists alike enjoy and take inspiration from these photos of great grafitti art.
It is these great works of graffiti that inspired me to keep walking even when the weather has been cold, and grey moody clouds have threatened to dump wet stuff all over me and my best friend, companion and lover, my husband.
It is a testament to these artists that this african child has survived the last two winters just when I had begun to believe that I might never again set foot outside, let alone climb out from under the duvet.
I am hoping that we may be in for some more treats during winter but I am not counting on it!!

The piece above that I like to call the Silent Scream for obvious reasons is by BLAM and the eye is from a piece done by Jody. All three appear to be done as airbrush using aerosol paints with particular caps to capture the super soft realism and fine lines of the hair and teeth. The three girls below done from a negative aspect are by Art Tart and look like stencils overlayed & oversprayed.

A lot of the black and grey graffiti portraits have been done by Jody including this thought provoking piece in colour here below.

Gorgeous orange girl here is by Grafter, there is another in red and blue that floats next to her on a wall down North Street in Bedminster, at the bottom of this page.

Another amazing piece by BLAM. Love it!

J Tierney. I have not seen too many of these but hope to!

From the insanely beautiful to the mad and wonderful!
Keep an eye on this page as I add more grafitti art as and when
we find it to Gang Gallery2/3.
Where road signs are in view we have kept them in the photograph for the sake of authenticity and region. Although there is a chance that they may have disappeared between the then and the now.
The two pieces below show the fragility and longevity of graffiti. The two shouting images have replaced some of the art taken on the water front this year 2009, and the planet has survived by being more hidden from public view or maybe for reasons I do not yet know.
I do know that I will keep ducking down lesser roads and alleys in the hopes that we come accross more graffiti that has stood the test of time or perhaps some new ones taking the place of the old.
